San Storage

You can purchase additional storage on our Shared Storage Device. This will be instantly attached to your server as a disk, at which point you can format it and mount it. We offer various options, starting from 50GB all the way to 500GB. You can also purchase this as an addon from your Control Panel after your server has been provisioned.

cPanel

We support cPanel/WHM, this will get automatically installed on your server, and will be ready in minutes. You don’t have the headache of installing cPanel – we take care of it for you! CPanel/WHM is free with Managed Servers.

WHMCS

We offer WHMCS as a billing panel for your dedicated server. You can purchase the license from us for a significantly lower cost, and then install it on your dedicated server. The WHMCS addon can be purchased at the time of your order or from your Control Panel after your server has been provisioned.

Additional IP

Your server comes with 1 IP for the server plus 2 additional Free IPs. Additional IP addon can be purchased at the time of your order or from your Control Panel after your server has been provisioned. Please note that the IP Addresses will be assigned randomly and so it is not possible to assign a particular IP Address or IP Addresses in a particular range.

Q. Do I get root access to my server?

Yes, get full root access, which means you have full administrative control of your server. This means you have complete control of your server, and can choose to install any software you wish to.

Q. What kind of support do I get with my Managed Server?

We offer two levels of support for your Managed Server: Core-Managed and cPanel relevant. All servers come with Core-Managed support, and if you have chosen to purchase cPanel through us, we offer ‘additional support options relevant to cPanel..

Q. When will my Managed Server be ready once I have placed an order?

We use a proprietary provisioning system which ensures that your server is ready instantly. Yes, you read that right – your server is available for use immediately. No 24 hour wait, no setup fees.

Q. What kind of hardware do you use for each Managed Server?

Our Managed servers use the SuperMicro blade chassis, which has a small footprint with reduced power consumption and cooling requirements. These efficiencies allow us to pass cost savings down to you so your costs are kept to a minimum. Our servers are powered Intel Xeon HyperThreaded processors, DDR3 RAM and 7200RPM SATA drives.

Q. What is the speed of the network port/uplink on my server?

We allow speeds of up to 1Gbps on each server’s network port.

Q. What kind of Hard Drives do you provide with each server?

All our servers come with a pair of 1TB 7200 RPM SATA drives in RAID 1. RAID 1 means that each hard drive is a mirror of the other, ensuring that if one drive fails, there is a copy of your data in the other drive.

Q. Can I expand the storage on my server?

With our custom in-house Shared Storage device, you can add a near infinite amount of storage to your server. While your server has 1TB of local storage, you can choose to expand this by adding space instantly to your server on our Shared Storage Device. This will be instantly attached to your server as a disk, at which point you can format it and mount it. You can choose to buy anywhere from 50GB to 500GB of storage at a time.

Q. How do I access my Dedicated Server?

There are several ways to access your server:

• SSH – you can access your server through any SSH client using the root credentials we provide to you
• cPanel – if you have chosen to purchase cPanel from us, you can access and manage your server through the cPanel/WHM control panel
• Dedicated Server Control Panel – you can also perform frequent operations, such as Stopping, Starting and Restarting your server through our web-based control panel, which comes bundled with every server

Q. Do you offer any Billing Panels?

Q. What is the Operating System (OS) that is installed on my server?

Every server comes installed with CentOS 6.7, the latest version of an enterprise-grade Linux OS based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). We are also working on adding more OS flavors, starting with Ubuntu, which is coming soon.

Q. Do you provide Reverse DNS (rDNS) and IPv4?

We can setup Reverse DNS for your IPv4 IP, please submit a Support Ticket after your server has been provisioned.

Q. Do you provide IPv6?

Note we do not support IPv6 on our dedicated servers.

Q. What Payment methods do you offer?

We accept Credit Cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) payment through PayPal secure processing servers. You do not have to have a Paypal Account in order to pay by Credit Card. For security we do not store Credit Card infomation on our server. We also accept Direct Deposit (Australian Customers) and International Bank Transfer (International Customers)
